Death From Lockjaw

Frank Holsman near Jefferson died Friday morning, December 9, at his home in Willow township, of tetanus. His death was entirely unexpected and a great shock to his family and friends. A few days before his death he ran a splinter into one of his hands and the injury was of so trivial a nature that he paid little attention to it. The day preceding his death the symptoms became alarming lockjaw set in and in twenty-four hours death ended his sufferings.
