Death of Mrs. Andrew Jacobson

Mrs. Andrew Jacobson who was taken to Nevada Tuesday to be operated upon for strangulated hernia, died at the sanitarium Wednesday morning. She was found to be so far gone that no operation was attempted. The deceased was fifty-six years old and leaves a husband and five children, besides an aged father and mother to mourn her death.

Mrs. Andrew Jacobson of Story City, aged 56, died Wednesday morning at the Sanitarium from peritonitis, the result of strangulated hernia. She was brought down from Story City the evening before and underwent an operation; but the trouble had already progressed so far that the operation was without effect.
