S. [sic] Kling of Monroe, aged about 35, was instantly killed Wednesday afternoon when the car he was driving turned turtle five miles west of Prairie City. Four other persons in the car sustained minor injuries. The party had gone from Des Moines for a pleasure ride and the machine was running at a high rate of speed, when the breaking of a wheel caused skidding with the fatal results stated.
