George C. White was called to Bloomington, Illinois last Thursday by the death of his mother, Mrs. Martha White, who passed away there quite suddenly. Mrs. George White, who had just come from Bloomington, arrived home after her husband had left for that city. The elder Mrs. White was 69 years of age and she leaves two children, George and his sister, Mrs. Sutherland, of Bloomington. The younger Mrs. White, coming from Connecticut and Bloomington, has met here her sister, Miss Nellie Chalfant, who has been teaching in Harrison county, and the two have been settling their new home in the J. S. Frazier homestead.
