Doris M. Anderson, age 92, of Ames, IA, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2017.

A visitation will be held on Monday January 30, 2017 at 12:00 p.m., at Stevens Memorial Chapel (607 28th St., Ames, IA 50010), the funeral service will follow the visitation at 1:00 p.m. on Monday January 30, 2017 at Stevens Memorial Chapel, internment will follow services in the Ames Municipal Cemetery.

She was born on October 10, 1924 on the family farm near Vincent, IA., the daughter of Jennie (Beukelman) and R. Sherman Crane. Survivors include her son; Harlan and his wife Sue, 6 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
