Death of Mrs. Jeremiah Olson

The death of Mrs. Jeremiah Olson at the age of sixty five occurred Wednesday, July 6, at the Olson homestead near Roland, following a short illness of lung fever. The event is peculiarly sad in view of the fact that Mr. Olson is absent on a visit to Norway He and son-in-law, Rev. G. O. Paulsrud of Randall left a few weeks ago for the old home land. Mrs. Olson being in her usual health, but they had little more than sailed when Mrs. Olson was seized with a malady which speedily become critical Cablegrams have carried tidings from the sick bed, but the separation for a season has become final.

The funeral sill be held from the home of her son, Joseph, on the old Olson homestead northwest of Roland Saturday afternoon at 1 o'clock and further services will be conducted at Salem's church in Roland by her pastor Rev. J. N. Sandven.

Mrs. Olson is survived by her huand, three sons and five daughters. The sons are Osmund whose home is in North Dakota, Edward of near Lake Okoboji, and Josiah of near Roland. The daughters are Mrs. Julia Sigmund, of this place, Mrs. G. O. Paulsrud and Mrs. Martin Anderson of Randall.
