Funeral Services of Mrs. Reagan Thursday
The funeral of Mrs. John Reagan was held a the Christian church Tuesday afternoon at 2:30, Rev. C. E. Lookingbill being in charge. The songs were by a mixed quartette from that church. The services, at the church, which were attended by a large circle of relatives and near friends, as well as by many neighbors, were followed by interment in the Nevada cemetery.
Mrs. Reagan, whose death occurred at an early hour Sunday morning was 46 years of age. he was born Ella Belle Strickler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Strickler, near Clyde, November 19, 1879.
She moved with her parents to Rhodes when she was six years of age. She united with the Methodist Protestant church at that place in young womanhood. She was united in marriage to H. J. Reagan, Nov. 16, 1903 at Nevada. They made their home in Story county and th past four years in Nevada.
Mrs. Reagan leaves to mourn her loss a loving husband, a father and mother, three sisters, Mrs. Effie Walker of Maxwell, Mrs. Nina Baker and three brothers, T. H. and A. A. Strickler of Hugo, Colo. and E. N. Strickler of Knoxville and other relatives and many loving friends.
Those from away who attended the funeral were her parent, Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Strickler, Mrs. C. W. Allen, Mr. and Mrs. H. A. White and Mrs. Nina Baker, Mr. and Mrs. W. V. Hayes all of Rhodes; Mr. and Mrs. E. N. Strickler of Knoxville, Mrs. and Mrs. Charles W. Walker, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ray, Thomas Morrison, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Robertson, Mrs. Hannah Dolph, Mr. and Mrs. Lem White, Mrs. Orville Sarsfield and children of the southeast part of this county, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jones, Mr. Zenus Jones and Mrs. Roy Weston of Ira, Mrs. L. S. Barton of Mitchell, S. D., Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Oyler of Ames, Mrs. John Harding of Dennison, Mr. and Mrs. George Reagan of Aredale and Grover Reagan and son Harvey of Manson.
