Donna Belle Watson
March 8, 1927-Feb. 20, 2005

Donna Belle Watson, 77, of Ames, died Sunday, Feb. 20 in Phoenix. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 26, at First Baptist Church in Ames.

Donna Watson was born March 8, 1927, in Deloit, to Emil and Hazel (Hall) Bohnker. She grew up in Denison and married Russell Watson on Oct. 10, 1948. She was employed by Iowa State University Extension Services until she retired.

She is survived by her husband; two sons, Jeff (Kris) and Rick (Marcia); two daughters, Ann (Bob) Koch and Lisa Watson; one brother, Norman Bohnker; one brother-in-law, Bob Martin; six grandchildren; and two nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Betty Martin.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
