There were brief services at the home of a sister, Mr. and Mrs. O. M. Brown, with scripture reading, prayer and a song by the pastor.

The service at the church began with the singing of a hymn, "Jesus Lover of My Soul," sung by the audience. Pastor Onstad read the obituary and led in devotions, after which he sang a solo, "I Know of a Sleep in Jesus." The funeral sermon followed. In closing Mrs. A. L. Peterson and Mrs. M. S. Heggen sang a duet, "Jesus Cares."
