Burial Rites for Soren Morrison
Last Saturday at Slater

Soren Morrison, beloved by many, passed away, Thursday, March 15, at the home of Mrs. Emma Reinertson near Kelley after a lingering illness, and was laid to rest Saturday afternoon from the Bethlehem church at Slater. The services were in charge of Rev. Onstad. They began with a hymn, "Heaven's My Home," sung by the audience. The pasteor read the obituary and led in devotion after which he sang a solo, "I'm a Pilgrim and I'm a stranger." He took as his text, "Abraham," his faith counted for righteousness. In closing Miss Mae Ford sang a Norwegian favorite "Den Store Hvide Flok Vi Se," (The White-robed throng).

There were some beautiful floral tributes and gifts to the missions and memory of Soren.

The pallbearers were neighbors and friends of the deceased. Martin Romsa, J. Oakland, Thomas Reinertson, Grant Olson and Georege Nernes. Burial was made in the Bethlehem cemetery.
