Plan rites for A. J. Paggett

Adolph J. Paggett, 74, Des Moines, a former Randall resident, died about 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Story County Hospital, Nevada, where he had been taken following a one-car accident near Maxwell.

Mr. Paggett was born in Springfield, Ill., but had lived in the Randall area for many years. He had been employed in railroad construction work in Des Moines for about two years.

He is survived by three sons, Donald, Abilene, Tex.; Bill O., Waterloo, and Larry, Marshalltown; two daughters, Mrs. Merlin Doolittle, Story City, and Mrs. Christian Tjernagel, Wilmar, Minn.; a sister, Mrs. Della Baughn, Springfield, Ill., and 18 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, a daughter, a sister and a brother.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday from the Soderstrum-Larson Funeral Home, Story City, with the Rev. A. J. Bringle, head of the Riverside Bible Camp, Story City, officiating. Burial will be in the Sheffield Cemetery, near Story City.

The body will lie in state until time for the funeral at the Soderstrum-Larson Funeral Home.
