Plan services at Story City

Charles Peterson, 86, Madison, S.D., died at Madison Monday.

His is survived by a sister Mrs. Thora Christianson, Story City, and three brothers, William of Story City, Chris of British Columbia, and Lewis of Kelvington, Can.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday evening at the Hollenbeck Funeral Home, Madison, S.D.

Services ill be held in Story City at 2 p.m. at the Grace Evangelical United Brethren Church Chapel, with the Rev. H. W. Riegel officiating. Burial will be in the Story City Municipal cemetery.

The body will lie in state Thursday evening at the Soderstrum-Larson Funeral Home, Story City.

CHARLES PETERSON

Charles Peterson was born in Story City in 1880, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter C. Peterson. He died May 17 at Madison, S. D.

Educated in Story City's school system, he moved to Montrose, S. D., as a young man, where he settled on a farm. He sold the farm in 1954 and moved to Madison, S. D. where he lived until his death.

He is survived by three half-brothers, Lewis of North Surrey, British Columbia; Chris of North Vancouver, British Columbia; and William of Story City; step-sister, Mrs. Thora Christenson of Story City.

Funeral services were held at Hallenbeck Funeral Home in Madison, S. D. and again at the Grace EUB Church in Story City, with the Rev. H. W. Riegel officiating.

Pallbearers were Harry Henderson, Henry Thorsbakken, Selmer Edreland, Everett Anderson, Lawrence Jacobson and Hans Hendrickson.

Burial was in Story City Municipal Cemetery.
