Barbara Yashack Dec. 28, 1934- June 3, 2013

Barbara Yashack, 78, of Ames, died Monday June 3, 2013, at Bethany Manor in Story City.

Barbara was born Dec. 28, 1934, in Benson Minn., to Charles Lewis Johnson and Mable May (Mills) Johnson.

She relocated to Ames, where she met and married Eldon Yashack on May 4, 1957.

Barbara made her career as a devoted mother and housewife.

She is survived by her four sons, Terry, Mark, Karl, and Gary Yashack; her daughter-in-law Rose Yashack, (wife of Terry); two grandchildren, Kristen and Michael Yashack, three great-grandchildren, Isabella and Sadie Yashack and Kaden Jones, and her sister Gertrude (Johnson) Woodworth.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eldon; her parents; and her brother, Milford Johnson.

Memorial Services are still being planned at this time.

Memorial Services of Iowa is handling arrangement
