WAR VETERAN IS DEAD AT CAMBRIDGE
BENJ. F. ELLIOTT HAD BEEN RESIDENT THERE FOR MANY YEARS

Cambridge, Feb. 19--Benjamin F. Elliott, 89, Civil war veteran and pioneer of this part of the county died here Wednesday afternoon at 2:30, a victim of a cancer and other complications. Death occurred at the home of his daughter-in-law, Mrs. Louise Leland with whom he had made his home for sometime.Mr. Elliott, one of the oldest residents of this neighborhood, leaves several children, among them, a daughter, Mrs. George Zook and sons Lewis and Ivan of near Cambridge.
The funeral service will be held Friday afternoon at 2:30 at the White Oak church south of Cambridge, and interment will be at the family lot in the cemetery nearby.
