TRAGIC FATE OF ZEARING YOUTH

EBER CULBERTSON KILLED WHEN HE FELL FROM MOVING TRAIN

Special to the Journal.
Zearing, Feb. 19--Relatives here were startled by the news of the tragic death of Eber Culbertson, 23, local boy, which occurred near Phoenix, Arizona Wednesday.

While particulars have not been received it is known that Culbertson met his death when he fell from and was run over by a train he was riding, while on his way home from the west coast.

Culbertson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Culbertson of south of Zearing, left here about the first of the year, going first to the Boulder dam project in search of work, and from there on to the coast.

A few days ago his people received word that he was starting home and it was while on this trip that he met this tragic death, the particulars of which will probably never be known.

The body was taken to Phoenix and relatives here notified. Word was sent to prepare the body for burial and ship it at once to Zearing, where it will be received later this week.

The Culbertson family has lived in and near Zearing for many years, the last few of which have been spent on the W. A. Pollock farm, just south of town.
