DEATH CALLS FORMER CITIZEN

William Crawford, a former well known resident of Nevada died yesterday in Des Moines at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Charles Pratt, according to word received here this morning. Mr. Crawford was for many years and employee of the Standard Oil Company in Nevada and was well known both in town and surrounding country. Particulars of his death are lacking. The funeral will be held tomorrow morning at State Center at ten thirty in the Methodist church. The services after leaving the church will be in charge of the Nevada Masonic lodge of which the deceased was for many years a member. The lodge members will drive from here tomorrow morning, weather permitting, and it is likely that an invitation will be extended to the State Center lodge to unite in the ceremonies.
