Obituary
NETTIE RINGGENBERG
Funeral services for Mrs. Nettie Ringgenberg were held Dec. 31 at the Kelley United Church of Christ Congregational with the Rev. Louise Dengler officiating. Burial was in the Lincoln Cemetery near Alleman.
Mrs. Ringgenberg lived in Kelley far many years before, moving to the Lutheran Nursing Home in Madrid two years ago. She died at the Nursing home Dec. 28.
Nettie Alice Crabtree Ringgenberg was born June 30, 1889 at Polk City. She was the mother of eight children: Mrs. Opal Newbrough of Lenox, LeMar Freel of Polk City, Rosetta Ringgenberg of Des Moines, Mrs. Norma McLaughlin of Des Moines, Eva Mae Ringgenberg of Woodward and Calvin and Otto Ringgenberg, both of Kelley. Survivors also include a brother, Harry Crabtree, a sister, Mrs. Mae Young, both of Polk City; 16 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Her husband Albert and a son, Homer, preceded her in death.
Pallbearers were Floyd Newbrough, Leonard Ringgenberg, Philip Ringgenberg, Robert Mason, Charles McLaughlin and David Negel.
