Virginia L. Ocheskey was born October 2, 1928 to Boyd and Hilda (Witthaus) Cramer in Chamois, Mo. Virginia married Edward Ocheskey on April 20, 1946. She was a homemaker whose family encompassed her world. She was a collector of angels, enjoyed crocheting, and was an avid gardener.

Virginia passed away at 87 years of age on January 9, 2016 at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames.

Virginia is survived by her children, Jerry (Jane) Ocheskey, Wanda Kay Kimberley, Darrell (Diane) Ocheskey, Mary Knickerbocker and Mark Holland; eleven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward; her daughter, Karen Holland; and her granddaughter, Thersa Lynn Kimberley.

Burial of the cremated remains will be in the Slater Municipal Cemetery.
