Obituary From Adams Soderstrum Funeral Home, Story County, Iowa.

Marilyn was born on January 2, 1936 in Iowa City, Iowa to Joe and Susie (Reed) Dole. She married Larry Arnold on June 22, 1958. He passed away July 9, 2010. Marilyn grew up in Hubbard and after she married Larry they lived in Whitten, Iowa. In 1984 they moved to Dallas, Texas until moving to Story City in 2012. Marilyn loved her family and enjoyed attending her children and grandchildren activities over the years. She enjoyed her friends and playing solitaire.

Marilyn Jean Arnold, 79, of Story City died December 6, 2015 at Bethany Manor in Story City.

Marilyn is survived by two sons, Rick (Sonia) Arnold of Waukee and Kent (Laurie) Arnold of Story City; a daughter, Lori (Trevor) McKinney, Texas; seven grandchildren, Mason, Matthew, Mallory, Payton, C.J., Taylor and Nolan; two sisters, Pat Lofquist and Ruth Donner and two brothers, Harry Dole and Bill Dole.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; five brothers, Glen, Richard, Fred, Lee and Larry and a sister, Helen Roling.
