Story City.

....Mr. Mathias Oakland of Randall was driving his team home from the field and when within 80 rods of the house lightning killed both him and his team. He was found sitting up on his wagon, dead, and his hat and clothing torn in to shreds. Two trees in front of Rev. Amlund's house here were struck during the same storm....
