Ole B. Apland, died at the home of his sister, Mrs. Andrew Sampson, about three miles east of Slater Monday morning, June 9th, 1890, of liver complaint. His remains were laid to rest in the Slater cemetery, beside those of his wife who preceded him to the grave about five months.--Slater News.
