Under the Wheels.
Last evening while attempting to get aboard a moving train at Perry, Iowa, Chas. J. Shugart lost his hold, fell between the cars, was run over by one car and almost instantly killed. He with his brother, Peter, and others with teams were being shipped to the western part of the State to repair flood damages on the Milwaukee near Council Bluffs, got off at Perry to get lunch during the change of engines. His death is a shock to his friends and acquaintances. He was twenty-three years old and leaves a wife and one child, besides his paternal household. His funeral will be attended at the Methodist church Thursday at 1 P. M.

--John A., Phillip R. and William Shugart, of Sioux City, and Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Bronson of Clarke, Nebraska, came on to attend the funeral of their brother, Charles, Thursday. The Messrs. Shugart left for their homes Thursday night; Mr. and Mrs. Bronson tarried for visit with the old folks.
