From Story County Watchman September 15, 1905

Wednesday morning Mrs. E. G. Day, a former resident of this place and wife of a former officer of this county, died at the home of the aged in Des Moines at quite an advanced age. The remains were brought to Nevada and interred by the side of relatives who had passed before.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Isabel B. Goodin married (1) Pomeroy A. Blanchard on 3 November 1846 in Hardin County, Ohio. Pomeroy Blanchard died on 4 March 1851 and she married (2) Eldred Glencairn Day on 3 September 1854.
