WILLIAM WILSON.

William Wilson was born in Ohio on the 14th day of November 1815, and was the oldest and last survivor of a family of twelve children.

He was married to Mary Morgton* in June, 1840, and then moved to Stephenson county, Ill. To them were born eight children, of whom three are now living, Charles, Frank and William. He came to Gilbert Station from Stephenson county in 1869, where he has made his home ost the time since and has been known by the old residents of this county for nearly a third of a century. His four score and nearly six years ended at one o'clock Saturday morning, August 9, at the home of his son Charles near Gilbert Station. The funeral service held in the Congregational church on Sunday morning was very largely attended. He was laid to rest by the side of his wife in the Ames cemetery.
