From Nevada Representative November 3, 1886

Died, at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Emma Winchell, Maxwell, Saturday morning, Oct. 30th, 1886. Mrs. Anna Coggshall in the 80th year of her life. She was born in New York State, in 1807. In 1827 she was married to Hiram Coggshall and settled with him in Illinois in 1834. She lost her husband in 1849, and came to Iowa in 1869. She was the mother of eleven children, seven of whom survive her. Her funeral services were held Sunday and conducted by Rev. R. A. Ferguson assisted by Rev. Mr. Smith of Cambridge. She was a most worthy woman and will be long kept in kindly remembrance by those who knew her.

Maxwell.

An octogenarian passed away. Mrs. Anna Coggshall in her eightieth year, died at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Winchell, on Saturday morning, and was buried in the Maxwell cemetery on Sunday a 11 A. M. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. R. A. Ferguson assisted by W. H. Smith, at the M. E. church....
