--Mrs. Josephine Squires, mother in-law of S. E. Cooper, Maxwell, died Oct. 22d. She was highly esteemed.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Mrs. S. E. Cooper was Mary Eleanor Squires, daughter of Henry H. Squires and Josephine Barrack. She married Stephen Enoch Cooper in 1877.
