....The Herald published the details of the death of Mr. Mary Cronk, who died Aug. 4th, of puerperal convulsions. Mrs. Cronk was only 28 years old, just in the vigor of womanhood. She leaves two small children, Artie and Jesse. No better purer woman ever lived or died. No person in all our acquaintance was better prepared to go, nor one who was needed more here. There may be those whose christian faith enables them to see the hand of Providence in this sad event, but to us it is a deep, dark mystery. We only know that there is gone from among us, one of the best women we ever knew.
