From Nevada Representative March 19, 1884

Mrs. Eliza Chadwick, who recently died at Hubbard, Hardin county, was a sister-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. E. T. Campbell* of Grant township. Her husband was at one time associated with Col. Scott in the management of a large farm in Hamilton county. Mrs. C. and her husband, who survives her, celebrated their golden wedding last July. The aged couple have made their home much of the time with their daughter, Mrs. P. C. Benyon of Des Moines, to which city the remains of the mother were taken for interment. A large circle of friends hold in kindly remembrance the virtues of the dead, and extend friendly sympathy to the living.

* SUBMITTER'S NOTE: "E. T. Campbell" refers to Elijah Townsend Campbell, who at the time of this writing was married the Elizabeth Starr. Elizabeth (Starr) Campbell was the daughter of Philo Starr and Elizabeth "Betsy" Smith. She had a half-brother, Daniel Lewis Starr, who was the son of Philo Starr and Rachel Dickinson. Daniel Lewis Starr was married to Bathsheba Chadwick, whom I believe was a sister to Eliza (Tooker) Chadwick's husband, Joseph B. Chadwick.
