Mrs. Luke O'Donnell's mother Mrs. Ole Nelson passed away very suddenly at her home in Buffalo Center. The cause of death was apoplexy. The body was brought to Colo Wednesday and taken to the Luke O'Donnell home. Funeral services were held at Zearing Thursday a. m. The Nelson family were residents of Story county, living in the vicinity of McCallsburg before moving to Buffalo Center. Mrs. Nelson is survived by her husband and seven children. Mr. Nelson was unable to come to the funeral and his son Jens remained at home with him. The other children were present, they are Mrs. Luke O'Donnell of Colo, Miss Anna Nelson, a nurse at St. Thomas hospital in Marshalltown, Misses Christine, Carrie and Mary Nelson and Mr. Nels Nelson of Buffalo Center. The deceased was about sixty five of age. Sincere sympathy tended to the bereaved ones.
