IN MEMORIAM

MRS. LYDIA D. SHAW

Through the thoughtful kindness of Mrs. Ida Danskin of Bozeman, Montana, formerly of this county, we learn of the death of her sister, Mrs. Lydia D. Shaw of Santa Clara, California. Her demise occurred February 18, 1917, after a lingering illness of a year. She was a widow of the late D. W. Shaw of the same city. Mr. Shaw was a son of the late J. B. Shaw for many years one of leading citizens of this county. She was a native of New York, and she and her husband were for many years well known and highly esteemed residents of New Albany, Nevada and Milford townships. She was the worthy and loving mother of a large family and leaves many near relatives scattered through the west and in Iowa. Her nearby relatives are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Danskin of Colo. Her relatives here and elsewhere will deeply mourn her loss and all who knew her during her more than a half century of helpful life, will greatly regret her passing.
