J. L. Williamson died at Denver, Colo., Feb. 2. He underwent an operation for appendicitis, but never rallied from the effects. His wife, Mrs. Mary J. Petefish Williamson was ill with dropsy and heart trouble and his death hastened her end February 23. This worthy couple used to live south of Collins and were well known and acquainted in this neighborhood. Mrs. Williamson was a sister of Mrs. N. E. Stanton of our city, who has the sympathy of many friends in this bereavement. --Collins Gazette.
