Obituary From Adams Soderstrum Funeral Home, Story County, Iowa.

Ethel was born on August 17, 1919, in Roland, to Ove and Anna (Ristesund) Anderson. She was one of 16 children. Ethel attended Roland High School. She continued to live in the area helping out on the family farm & she later lived in Webster City. She was a member of Bergen Lutheran Church, loved to read the Bible and be involved at church. Embroidering was a favorite activity and she made many beautiful pieces for family and friends.

Ethel Anderson passed away on Sunday, August 23 at Southfield Care Center in Webster City.

She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and her good friend Emma Stout. She was preceded in death by her parents, 8 brothers and 7 sisters. The family would like to thank Southfield and Sharon Weiner for their care and compassion.
