NEAR CENTENARIAN CALLED BY DEATH

BODY OF MONTGOMERY ILLINGSWORTH BROUGHT BACK FOR INTERMENT

Special to the Journal.
Cambridge, June 11--Montgomery Illingswoth, 96, years of age and for many years a resident of this community died recently at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Adaline Alfred of Superior, Neb. The body has been brought back to Cambridge for burial.

Since the death of his wife a number of years ago Mr. Illingsworth had made his home in this city with his son, W. B. and family. There ehe continued to make his home until about five years ago when he went to Superior and had since lived with his daughter. For the past three years he had been an invalid much of the time confined to his bed.

Mr. Illingswoth had been a man of strong, rugged physique and his wasting away had been a slow process, making his passing expected for some time. Paralysis of the throat was the ultimate cause of death.

Six children live to mourn his passing, they being W. B. Illingworth of Cambridge, Mrs. Adeline Alfred of Superior, Neb., Mrs. George Posegate of Fort Dodge, Mrs. Henry Myers of Maxwell, Nature Illingsworth of Los Angeles and Mrs. Julia Gamereth of Minneapolis.

The body arrived Friday afternoon and is at the Myers home in Maxwell. The son, Nature, arrived from Los Angeles, as well as other of the children.
