Mrs. Hamilton Elliott aged forty years died at her home in Marcy township, Boone county, May 10, after a lingering illness. Mrs. Elliott is most kindly remembered in Story county as Miss Mary Hardcastle, sister of Mrs. Geo. Chapman of Richland, and one of the county's esteemed young women and successful teachers. Her husband and a little son survive her.
