Tom Little, 82, passed away August 5, 2015 at his home in Ames. The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, at Adams Funeral Home in Ames.

Thomas Orrin Little was born June 24, 1933 to Orrin John and Gladys Loretta (Hall) Little in St. Paul, Minnesota. Tom owned and operated Tom's Conoco until 1980 and then worked for Cy-Ride until his retirement in1998. He enjoyed fishing, horse racing, taking care of his lawn and spending time with his family.

Tom is survived by four sons, Kevin (Tammy) Little of Story City, Steve (Connie) Little of Georgia, Dennis (Patti) Little of North Carolina and Erick Little of Minnesota; one daughter, Mary Kay (Brian) Snider of Ames; his step-children, Bill (Debbie) Davis of New Jersey, Diane Davis of Boone and Twyla (Doug) Anderson of Ames; one sister, Delores Kronovich; his first wife, Charlotte Little of North Carolina; 21 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by parents; his wife, Bonnie Little; one son, Brian Little; two brothers, Jack Little and Ronnie Little; and one sister, Donna Score.
