Tora Miller died Wednesday

Mrs. Tora C. Miller, 85, 524 Havward Ave., died Aug. 28 at Mary Greeley Hospital. Services are Friday at 1:30 p.m. from Ascension Lutheran Church with the Revs. James W. Asp and Olaf Holen officiating. Burial is in the Ames Municipal Cemetery.

Mrs. Miller was born Dec. 18. 1888 in Fredericks. S.D. In 1907 she was married to Henry Amiund who preceded her in death. She and Sidney A. Miller were married July 7. 1916 in Ames. He died Aug. 5. 1972.

Mrs. Miller was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church. ALCW. Gold Star Mothers and the American Legion Auxiliary.

Surviving are five daughters. Mrs H.A. Culbert, Troy Mills; Mrs. Flovd Johnson, Lake Oswego, Ore.; Mrs. Evan Evans, Ogden, Utah; Mrs. A J Nielson, River Forest, I11, and Mrs. Richard Bailey, Mason City; 14 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death bv two sons. Harold, in 1924 and Edward, in 1945, and a brother.

The body will lie in slate Thursday afternoon until noon Friday at the Adams Funeral Home. A memorial fund has been established with gifts going to the Memorial Kmul at Ascension Lutheran Church.
