Obituary

MRS. GENEVIEVE HOSTETTER

Funeral services for Mrs. Genevieve Hostetter, 43, Ames, were held Dec. 2 from the Stevens Funeral Home with the Rev. A. E. Wilken of the Evangelical United Brethren Church officiating. Burial was in the Story Memorial Gardens cemetery.

Mrs. Hostetter died Nov. 28 in Des Moines after a five month illness.

Born Sept. 15, 1917 at Butterfield, Minn., the daughter of Joseph Warren and Jessie Green, she came at he age of 11 to Ames where she attended public school. After graduation from Ames High School she was employed at the Ames Laundry.

The Hostetter family moved to Ames in 1958 where Mrs. Hostetter worked at Mary Greeley Hospital as a nurse's aid. She earlier was employed by the Reuben H. Donnelley Corp. in Nevada.

A member of the Ames Evangelical United Brethren Church since Nov. 27, 1932, she is survived by her husband, Clyde; three children, Sandra, Karen and Joe; four brothers, Forrest, Harold, Edwin and Clyde and her mother, Mrs. Jessie Green.
