BELOVED WOMAN DIES LAST EVENING

Mrs. J. L. Stull Succumbs After Long Illness.

After a long and painfull illness, Mrs. J. L. Stull gave upt the struggle of life last evening at 6:30 o'clock and passed away at her home, 254 Hyland avenue. The immediate cause of her demise was cancer of the stomach, which manifested itself two months ago. Mrs. Stull was taken to the Mercy hospital in Des Moines for an operation five weeks ago, but it was decided after an examination that an operation would only shorten he days upon earth and she was brought home.

Mrs. Stull has lived in Story county for many years and is well known at Ontario where she resided before moving to Ames fourteen years ago. Her passing will be mourned by her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Galen Kooser and one son, Manford Stull, who resides at home.

The funeral service will be held at the Christian church at 10:30 o'clock Thursday morning.
