David Dennison, age 83 years, died at his home at Collins, Wednesday.

The funeral was held at the home, Friday. Rev. Zerry Hougham of the U. B. Church preached the sermon.

Burial was in the Collins Cemetery.

Mr. Dennison came to Iowa in 1858 and has always lived in Collins and on a farm nearby.

In 1871 he was married to Sarah Parker, who died in 1916. They had three children, Henry, Flora, wife of Frank Holland of Collins, Bessie, who died in infancy.

He has eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and a brother, Lowden, of Oklahoma.

He was a member of the Methodist Church and a land owner. ~ The Colfax Tribune, Colfax, Iowa Thurs 29 Oct 1931.
