Jerry J. Sankot

Sankot, Jerry J. Age 64, of New Brighton, on March 14, 2015. Born September 17, 1950 in Belle Plaine, IA to Frank and Eleanor Sankot. Survived by loving wife of 44 years, Janice; daughter, Jennifer (Jon) Harrington; siblings, Patricia (Roger) Pacanowski, Margret, Tom (Kathy), Jim (Judy), and Bill; other family and dear friends. Jerry earned his Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Iowa State University, as well as associate's degrees in clock repair and watch repair. He was a licensed Professional Engineer, and a member of the ASQC/ASQ, the MN Clockmakers Guild, and the MN NAWCC-OT Lang Chapter. He last worked for EcoWater in Woodbury. Jerry was also a member of the MSUS Church community. He had struggled with his health since his 2003 diagnosis of multiple brain tumors. Services will be held later this year. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society or a charity of the donor's choice. Jerry's family extends their gratitude to his family and friends, and the staffs at Johanna Shores, the University of Minnesota -Fairview Hospitals, Clinics, & Hospice, and North Suburban Family Physicians-Roseville.
