Kenneth "Ken" Earl Stouwie was born on May 11, 1960, in Des Moines, IA to Cecil and Carolyn Thompson Stouwie Jr; died on Mar 26, 2015, in Port Richey, FL at his mother's home after a short illness.

Ken graduated from Nevada High School in 1978. He worked at C&D Sanitation, Corp, and most recently as a truck driver for Swift Trucking Co.

Ken is survived by his daughter, Kenna (Scott) Marple of Des Moines; his mother Carolyn Stouwie of Port Richey, FL; his brother Barry Stouwie and fiance Jolene Oxley of Nevada; his sisters, Vonda LaFever and special friend John Stringini of Niceville, FL, Sonja Chase and partner Dawn Guthrie of Spring Hill, FL; four nieces; four nephews; two great nieces; one great nephew. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, a nephew Barry Stouwie II in 1990, a special friend Theresa Gould, his father Cecil Stouwie Jr in 2014.

A memorial service will be held at Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada, IA on May 4, 2015, from 5 to 8 PM with a service at 7 PM.
