Larry D. Dunbar
August 1, 1970 - November 3, 2014

Larry Dean Dunbar was born August 1, 1970 to David and Betty (Hodges) Dunbar in Washington, Iowa. Larry grew up in Rubio, Iowa and graduated from Pekin High School in 1988. He attended Indian Hills College and worked as a production manager for Associated Materials in Cuyahoga Falls. Larry and Lisa Ottoson were married February 12, 1999 in Las Vegas, Nevada, being love at first sight and after a whirlwind romance. Larry loved coaching his son, Nathan, in his Little League baseball and football teams. Larry also loved being with his girls, Madilyn and Olivia, with them even getting him to play Barbie's. Larry was a fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes and the Kansas City Chiefs and loved going to the sprint car races in Knoxville. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and hiking with his family.

Larry passed away at his home at 44 years of age on November 3, 2014.

Larry is survived by his wife, Lisa Dunbar and their children, Nathan, Madilyn and Olivia, of Cuyahoga Falls; his father, David (Margaret) Dunbar, of Kingman, Arizona; his siblings, Nola (Gene), Ted (Sheila), Connie, Bob, William (Brenda), John and Susan (Bob); his father-in-law, Keith Ottoson, of Des Moines; Lisa's siblings, Stephanie (Steve), Scott (Shannon), Melissa (Aaron) and Jenna; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Dunbar and his mother-in-law, Jackie Ottoson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
