Services set for Mrs. Hazel Magoon

Funeral services for Mrs. Hazel Magoon, 77, Nevada, will be Friday at 3:30 p.m. from Stevens Memorial Chapel with the Rev. William Overhulser of the First United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Slater cemetery.

Mrs. Magoon died Wednesday morning at the Story County Hospital in Nevada.

Mrs. Magoon was born Nov. 11, 1895 at Nevada. She was married to Melvin G. Magoon Dec. 28, 1912 at Minburn.

She was a member of the Slater Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Melvin, Oak Park Manor Nursing Home, Nevada; two sons, Virgil Magoon, 311 11th St. and Eldon Magoon, Denver, Colo.; a daughter, Mrs. Willard Holm, Newton; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; a brother, Joe Hines of Denver, Colo. and sister, Mrs. Eva Graves, 1318 Kellogg Ave.

Srevens Memorial Chapel is in charge of funeral arrangements.
