RICHARD McKIM

Richard McKim, 60, of 815 9th St., Nevada IA, died Friday, May 23, 1986, at Veterans Hospital, Des Moines IA, after an illness of several months. Death was due to cancer.

Mr. McKim was born Nov. 19, 1925, at Des Moines to Frank and Lola (Stratton) McKim and was a lifetime residents of this area.

Survivors include his mother, Lola, of Nevada; three sons, Steve of Boone IA, Jerry of Oskaloosa IA, and Mike of Nevada; a daughter, Debi Eness of Ames IA, and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, his twin brother Robert, and infant brother, Billy.

Mr. McKim was a building contractor. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion.

Graveside services were held at Nevada Cemetery Tuesday, May 27, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Ernest Larson officiating.

Chet Ryan Mortuary, 5th St. and G Ave., Nevada, was in charge of arrangements.
