Ruth Janssen, 69, of Nevada died this morning at the Story County Hospital in Nevada.

A native of Denison, Kansas, Janssen had lived in Nevada for 40 years. She was a member of the Christian Church.

She is survived by a son, Charles Janssen of Nevada, a brother, Basil Faunce of Arizona, a sister, Alice Farrington of Nevada and four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Ryan Funeral Home with Rev. William Bass officiating. Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery.
