LOWELL WAYNE HUEBNER

Lowell Wayne Huebner, 34, of Marengo IA, died at Mercy Hospital in Cedar Rapids IA Sunday, Oct. 30, 1988, shortly after arrival at the hospital. Death was attributed to a heart attack.

He was born May 28, 1954, to Wayne E. and Katherine M. (Carroll) Huebner.

He was educated to Osceola IA and graduated from Iowa Valley High School in Marengo in 1972.

He served in the Army during the Vietnam era from May 1972 to February 1975.

He attended Kirkwood College in Cedar Rapids one year.

On Sept. 21, 1985, he was married the Angie Brecht in rural Marengo. They were later divorced.

Mr. Huebner was a member of the Wardling-Wendel Post No. 76 American Legion. He was employed at the Pioneer seen corn company at Marengo.

Survivors include his father, Wayne, of Marengo; his mother, Katherine Huebner of Aurora CO; a son, Jayson of Marengo; a daughter, Hollie Huebner of Marengo, and his paternal grandfather, Arthur Fred Huebner of Nevada IA.

Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2, at Hoover Valley Funeral Home in Marengo. Friends were invited to call from 1:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1.

Graveside services and burial were at 2 p.m.Wednesday at Nevada Cemetery, Nevada IA.
