Jesse Christy, Nevada, died

Jesse C. Christy, 67, Nevada died about 4 a.m. today at the Story County Hospital.

Born in Illinois, he had been a resident of Story County for 56 years and was a retired farmer.

He is survived by a son, Kieth of Nevada; three brothers, Art, of Maxwell; Freeman of Nevada, and Herbert, 815 Carroll Ave., Ames; two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Alexander and Mrs. Stella Alexander, both of Nevada, and three grandchildren.

he was preceded in death by a son, a brother, and his wife, Bessie, in 1961.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. from Ryan Funeral Home in Nevada with the Rev. James Dendler officiating. Burial will be in Nevada Cemetery.
