Services Thursday for Everett Oxley

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Nevada Municipal Cemetery for Everett Oxley, 53, who died Oct. 1 in Sacramento, Cal.

Mr. Oxley was born Sept. 14, 1918 in Nevada and was a veteran of World War II and member of the Ames Post of the American Legion.

He is survived by one son, James Hanson, Ames, and one daughter, Mrs. Debbie Houland, Ames, one brother, Forrest Oxley, Ames and two grandchildren.

The Rev. E. E. Peters of Calvary United Methodist Church will officiate at the graveside service. Stevens Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
