Mrs. S. W. Arthur, Of Nevada, Died

Mrs. S. W. Arthur, 89, Nevada, died about 12:30 this morning at the Story County Hospital where she had been a patient for the past seven weeks.

Born at Washburn, Mrs. Arthur moved to Nevada in 1900.

She was a graduate of Iowa State Teachers College, class of 1897, member of Nevada Methodist Church, past president of the Women's Club and Parent Teacher Association.

She is survived by her husband, Dr. S. W. Arthur; a son, Hugh, of Nevada; a daughter, Mrs. Eva Paul, of Nevada, and one grandson.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. from the Nevada Methodist Church. The Rev. James Dendler will officiate.

Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery.

The body will remain at the Ryan Funeral Home, Nevada, until the time of services.
