April 16, 1959 - May 9, 2014

Ann Kathryn Piper, of Woodward, Iowa, passed away May 9, 2014 at the age of 56 at Mary Greeley Medical Center. She is survived by her parents, Joseph C. and Lynn G. Piper, of Naples, Florida; her brothers, Mr. Joseph Piper, of Walsenburg, CO, Dr. James Piper, of Great Falls, VA and Dr. John Piper, of West Des Moines, IA. Ann was preceded in death by her brother, Dr. Jeffrey Piper, of Rutland, Vermont in 2004.

The family gives thanks to the staff of Woodward State Hospital with special gratitude for the tender loving care shown to Ann by the staff at her cottage for the past fifty years. Ann’s life will be honored privately by her family.

In lieu of flowers, please direct any contributions to an account set up at Wells Fargo Bank: The Ann Kathryn Piper Memorial Fund, which will go to the house Ann lived in at Woodward.
